Few other destinations in the world can match those of the Sawgrass Marriott Resort & Spa when it comes to golf. The Sawgrass Marriott is the second-largest golf destination in the United States and is the host hotel of TPC Sawgrass. |
Located at 1000 PGA Tour Boulevard, the world-famous TPC Sawgrass, is home of the PLAYERS Championship.
The creation of TPC Sawgrass as host to THE PLAYERS was based on several unique concepts: |
• First, it would be the permanent home of THE PLAYERS, and it would be owned by the PGA TOUR
players.
• Second, the course and surrounding areas would be built with spectators in mind. It would be the first true
"Stadium Course," designed and built to improve the overall on-site fan experience.
• Third, prior to the construction of the TPC, nearly all of the great tournaments were played at private clubs
where the average fan rarely had a chance to play. The TPC would be a course of great design and
character that would be accessible to all golf fans. |
Escape to the ultimate golfer’s getaway — where you’ll enjoy spectacular accommodations, an astounding array of services and amenities, and exclusive access to the TPC Sawgrass golf courses. TPC Sawgrass is the perfect marriage of sun, sand and golf. |
| Now it’s your turn to take part in the esteemed history and tradition of TPC Sawgrass! Your participation in the tournament will include: |
- return flights Toronto to Jacksonville, Florida;
- all meals;
- accommodation for 2 nights in the magnificent surroundings of the Sawgrass Marriott Resort & Spa;
- 3 rounds of golf which will combine the Stadium’s sister course – Dye’s Valley upon arrival and the famous The PLAYERS Stadium course the following morning. The scores from the first two courses will be entered into our annual competition as foursomes compete for the crystal JTM Trophy and coveted “Red Jackets”. The final round will be played again at Dye’s Valley – the Pete Dye and Jerry Pate course that opened in 1987 and contributed to the legacy of TPC Sawgrass.
- Gala Dinner that features a spectacular reverse draw with a 1 in 88 chance of winning a golfing trip of a lifetime for two (for example at Pinehurst in 2011, this represented a $22k value inclusive of air/ hotel and green fees to 5 former British Open courses)

| Sawgrass 2012 participants will have first right of refusal for the 2013 JTM (May 26-28, 2013). |
